A great Sunday afternoon jazz set at the home of Pauline, thus P's Place. Allan Harris was in great form and the audience really enjoyed the music. He's a great crooner of whom The Miami Herald said. "..an artist blessed with, “the warmth of Tony Bennett, the bite and rhythmic sense of Sinatra, and the sly elegance of Nat ‘King' Cole.” But he's so much more, a little Johnny Hartman, a little Arthur Prysock, he's got the vocal "chops." He's worth going out of your way to hear him.
The sixteen year old jazz teenager phenom, Julius Rodriguez was invited to play with the group and we was excellent. His playing shows the maturity of a person many years his senior. He just gets it. His solos are amazing. It should be mentioned that he has his own band and that he also plays drums. He is destined to be a star.
